Do you need to get on the roof?

No. The vacuum works from a pole at ground level, and nobody walks on your roof. On the rare property where that will not reach, we will tell you before booking.

How often should gutters be cleared?

Once a year suits most houses, done in autumn once the leaves are down. If you are under heavy trees, twice a year is more realistic.

Can you unblock a gutter that is already overflowing?

Yes, that is the most common call we get as a gutter cleaner. The vacuum lifts out the plug of moss and silt that is holding the water back, then we check the outlet runs clear.

Will you clear the downpipes as well?

We check and clear the outlets into the downpipes as part of the job. A gutter that runs into a blocked pipe still overflows, so there is no point doing one without the other.

What do you do with what comes out?

It goes into the vacuum and leaves with us. Nothing is tipped into your garden or left in a bag by the gate.
